Well, after the reinstall, I cant seem to get all my fonts back, so certain sites that use non standard fonts cease to look as good, but there you go. Thats their fault for not using web standard fonts I managed to reinstate my site to web ring and I've been doing a lot of surfing because I'm now on ADSL .

I'm now working on a Newbies web design tutorial and this isnt going too badly at the moment, but I've neglected the main directories of this site for too long really. I have loads of new book marks just ready and waiting to go into each one. Oh and I've gotta get the greymatter blog sorted out as well lol.

Because the Blue Screen of Death kept rearing its ugly head, I decided I would have to reformat for the first time in 2 years. However, I ended up screwing up windows so badly it would only run in safe mode. Without a CD burner. So I was unable to back up to anything other than a floppy and I lost a lot of data. Unfortunately, it took about 4 or 5 reformats and reinstalls before I got my PC to anywhere half as good as it was before. And I still dont have sound. Most importantly, I was able to save my bookmarks (with out them this site will be screwed lol) and all my websites.

On a lighter note, I'm putting together a website about ME. Or more precisely, ME.UK. I decided for the first time in ages to put up a personal site and include some photos. But as I've got to scan them in and write the Javascript to link the thumbnails to the main pics, it may take a while. I'll post the URL as and when.
